As someone who tipped the scale at over 200 pounds on my 5’4” frame, I know the frustration of desperately wanting to lose weight - both the physical weight and the weight of others’ opinions. Both publicly and privately, I was deeply uncomfortable and frankly, miserable. In my mind, everyone was thinking about how I looked. I’d obsess about them judging how fat I looked, what I ate, and the quantity of what I ate. One of my deepest fears came to fruition when an ex-boyfriend's brother said something along the lines of how pretty my face was and that people would never know…and then gestured to the rest of me. I felt my heart drop to my feet. It stung like you wouldn't believe. This was maybe 25 years ago and I remember sitting at their mom’s kitchen table where this happened like it was yesterday. Clearly, it left a lasting impact.
After losing over 85 pounds and keeping it off for 20 years, I've dedicated my life's work to helping others. I went back to school to earn my Life and Health Coaching Certificates. If you or someone you know is struggling with yo-yo dieting, is frustrated by their own habits and behaviors, but can’t seem to change them no matter what they do and desperately wants to lose weight, please schedule a Free Total Transformation Discovery Call with me. It could be the end of your struggle and the start of a much healthier, happier you.
