As humans, we are wired to want.  We all have goals.  Some are lofty.  Some are small.  There is an ache to achieve or receive.  And the manifestation of the desire can be hard.  Stuff gets in the way.  It could be financial, emotional, physical.  We all have stuff.  Obstacles.  Hurdles, whatever you want to call them.  And we have a choice.  We can live there and stay stuck or we can be pulled by our desire to become unstuck.


What you do when you feel stuck is the key.  It will unlock the door to every goal you have.  Do you beat yourself up?  Do you give up on your goal?  Or do you dig in and get to work?  The following exercise is one thing you can do to keep going.


Imagine a goal you have.  Could be to have the body you desire.  Could be to earn more money.  Maybe it’s running a marathon or taking a month-long cruise or to give a stellar presentation or have a banner year at work.  Envision it.  Feel it in your bones.  Stay there.  Ruminate.  What does it feel like?  What will you see when you have achieved it?  What will you hear?  What types of things will you be doing?  Get excited.  Get motivated, as these are the things that you need to PAUSE and FEEL when those pesky hurdles rear their ugly heads.  Push away from pain and let your vision pull you toward the life you dream of.  It will be critical to achieving your goal.
